Aforieke will also be Malena Belafonte's boudoir Fashion Show. the show will start at 6:30 pm on December 18th 2024 at Sony Hall. We will be showcasing our holiday collection at this event so look forward to photos!!

November 30th 2024:
On November 22nd, We had the honor of speaking to 7th and 8th grade students from The New School For Leadership and The Arts about what it means to be a fashion designer and small business owner. The students were very intrigued and learned about all the hard work that goes into building a collection. Also, we got the chance to see some amazing sketches and creativity from the students as well. Glad to teach inspire future creatives about different career paths in fashion, pictures coming soon!

Happy October! This past Saturday, (September 28th) we had the honor of designing looks for the Making Strides Fashion Show @msabc_bronx. The show was hosted by @americancancersociety and @bronxfashion. It was such an amazing experience, and glad to create some amazing looks for this event (pictures are coming soon)! The best showcases are the ones for a good cause! Aforieke has been invited to showcase our designs at a charity runway event for the American Cancer Society, hosted by Bronx Fashion Week. We are grateful for the opportunity that Bronx Fashion Week has given us, and can't wait to make some amazing garments for the lovely survivors who will be modeling for the show. Aforieke has been blessed with many opportunities so far, and it's only the beginning of the summer! We have decided to end this summer with a Pre NYFW runway show, featuring some new designs for 2025! We did it! Aforieke has it's runway debut at Bronx Fashion Week on May 25th, and it was a show you did not want to miss! Thank you to the hardworking Bronx Fashion Week team for the platform, hair and makeup that made the models look amazing, the lovely models who slayed on the runway (you modeled our designs with such grace), and the great photographers who captured the moments! Aforieke has brought West Africa to Miami!
We are in Miami for Fashinnovation 3rd annual Miami Talks event. This event is centered around innovative ways fashion brands and companies are increasing their efforts to be sustainable. Aforieke got the chance to exhibit our collections at the event. We also attended a few Miami Swim Week events! Met some of the most amazing boss women during my time in Miami.
